The latest ] [ version of the document can be obtained by an anonymous ftp ] [ from nic.ad.jp:pub/jpnic or by sending an e-mail to ] [ mail-server@nic.ad.jp. ] The Japan Network Information Center (JPNIC) recommends the users having previously allocated IP addresses that are no longer being used to return those addresses to JPNIC. The addresses that can be so returned are any unused IP address allocated by an authorized address allocating organization irrespective of whether it was The NIC (The Network Information Center of Internet), the Network Address Coordination Committee, or the Japan Network Information Center (JPNIC). The owners of unused IP addresses are strongly urged to cooperate because IP addresses are limited resources that are being shared all over the world. Furthermore, returning of IP addresses will in no way affect the future applications for the acquisition of IP addresses by the same organization. For returning such addresses, fill in the particulars in the following format and send to the address given below. Also, in the case of electronic mail, the sender should be either the administrative contact or the technical contact.
