アジア太平洋地区の会員の皆様：

（2000年8月26日)ICANNの一般会員制度のプロセスは現在"会員推薦"の段階に あります。 http://members.icann.org/nom.html アジア太平洋地区からは会員推薦の候補者として24名の方々から名前が出され ています。この候補者たちのリストはこのメールの後半につけておきます。会 員の皆様はホームページで候補者について調べて、だれかに支持をするかどう か検討してください。

PIN番号が郵送で届くまでにもう少し時間がかかるために、会員推薦の期間は9 月8日まで延期されることになりました。

候補者は会員推薦を得るために、オンラインを通じて立候補する地区から2つ 以上の国より、有効な一般会員の2%又は20名以上の支持を集めなければなりま せん。この会員推薦による候補者は、指名委員会によって推薦された4名のア ジア太平洋地区の候補者とともに、10月の投票の際に名前がのります。候補者 は、各地域ごとに7名までとなります。
