アジア太平洋地区の会員の皆様：
(2000年9月7日) ICANN一般会員の会員推薦期間がまもなく締切りとなります。 アジア太平洋地区の会員推薦の候補者としては24名の方達が名前を出されてい ます。この候補者たちのリストはこのメールの後半につけておきます。会員の 皆様はホームページで候補者について調べて、だれかに支持をするかどうか検 討してください。
候補者への支持は9月8日午前12:00(GTM)が締切りとなっています。9月9日から は、一般会員のホームページにて、会員と候補者の間のやり取りを円滑にする ため、"Question & Answer Forum"と一緒に全候補者についてのインフォメー ションを見ることができるようになります。投票の期間は10月1日から10日ま での予定です。
候補者は会員推薦を得るために、オンラインを通じて立候補する地区から2つ 以上の国より、有効な一般会員の2%又は20名以上の支持を集めなければなりま せん。この会員推薦による候補者は、指名委員会によって推薦された4名のア ジア太平洋地区の候補者とともに、10月の投票の際に名前がのります。候補者 は、各地域ごとに7名までとなります。
