Distribution of Multilingual Domain Name tool Kit version 2.4 release started.
JPNIC started distribution of "Multilingual Domain Name tool Kit(mDNkit)" version 2.4 release on 25 Apr 2002. Refer to the following URL.

The following is a list of principal changes from mDNkit-2.3.1.
- According to a description of draft-ietf-idn-nameprep-07.txt, in NAMEPREP process, a check for unassigned codepoint of Unicode which is included in domain names by default. Based on this, -unassignedcheck or -u option (to perform an unassigned codepoint check) is ignored, alternatively, -nounassigncheck and -U option (not to perform the check) are added.
- Debugged a problem that runmdn is not performed on Solaris 8.
