4-4 Request for update of registered database information

Anyone, whether an individual or a corporation, who has registered JP domain names must update contact information in the JPNIC database. JPNIC sends various communications based on the contact information as registered, and some have been returned as undeliverable because of unknown addresses. Recently, the announcement regarding general use domain names was not delivered to a number of registrants.

To update registered information, please send an application by E-mail. You may use the template found in our web site to enter the necessary information. Information required in the application would vary depending on the changes. Changes are roughly categorized into three types: changes for the person in charge of registration; changes of contact address, name of person in charge of technical information, and change of name servers; other changes.
