Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 7) IEICE
Dear Sir,
I wonder about the existence of Internet access to The Institute
of Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE). I looked at
some Japanese web and gopher servers but failed to find a link
for IEICE. So I will be very grateful if you help me with this
issue.
Thanks in advance,

This should not be a right entry point to get information on
organizations in Japan. However you may use whois server running
at whois.nic.ad.jp. You may want to use <keyword>/e convention
to get English output.
I personally give an pointer; yes, IEICE office has internet access
even if its speed is 9.6kbps. I don't think people in its office is
skillfull to communicate with you in email, I will introduce you
a person who helped to established the connectivity there. His name
is Mr. Hitoaki Sakamoto (hitoaki@sphere.csl.ntt.jp). You may write
him to get information on IEICE.
Sincerely,

Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 9) Search for Kazue Ono in Hiroshima
[To whom it may concern,
Your address was selected because the name of the site gave me the
idea that you might have a broad view of internet users in the Hiroshima area.
We are looking for a way (via internet) to contact a school teacher
in Hiroshima whose name is Kazue Ono. Ono Sensei was a guest in our home
this summer as part of an educational exchange program. Would there be an
internet site close to her to which she might have access?

Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 11) regional domain name
yamaguchi-els.yamaguchi.yamaguchi.jp
yamaguchi-els.t753.jp

Subject: (Goiken to JPNIC 12) Japanese characters on WWW
Hello,
Please send information about a location on the internet where I can
download the necessary netware to have the Japanese pages on the WWW appear
in Japanese font/characters.
I access the WWW on a Macintosh using Mosaic.
Thank you,
