Including hardware, software, Internet connection, telecommunication expenses, help desk, teacher training, teaching resources, short and middle term projects, content development, competitions etc.
Initiative by the Federal Ministry of Education, Deutsche Telekom and other sponsors
Connected (i.e. Internet access from at least one PC) 1/3 of all German schools (60% of elementary schools) until 07/1999
All 44 000 German Schools shall be connected until 2001.
